Affirmations can be used with children in many ways. Try saying the words out loud strongly and then repeating in every quieter tones until you repeat them silently. Follow with a few moments of quiet concentration or prayer.

You can also use the affirmation in more dynamic ways. Try repeating the words in rhythm and clapping together, or make up hand motions and body movements for each word. You could sing the words to a favorite melody, use them in a story or have the children write them down and add an illustration.
